Junior Firefighters

As a junior firefighter in the MTFR system, members ages 16-18, are guided through training and aspects of the fire service by our more experienced members. Junior Firefighters are afforded the same training as all members, but some classes may carry some restrictions based on the member’s age. Once a junior firefighter turns 18 years old, he / she will fall into one of the other membership categories.
