Live In members are provided with a place to live in exchange for running emergency calls and participating in fire company activities. Each MTFR station has a live in program, and each station can accomodate a minimum of 4 live in firefighters and up to 14 firefighters. When the live ins are available, they provide MTFR with the majority of its staffing. As with any other member, Live In members are provided the same training that is available to any other member.
