Manheim Township Fire Rescue

On Monday evening September 11th, at the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners meeting, MTFR was proud to have our first three fulltime Firefighter/EMT's sworn in. Our first fulltime Firefighter’s join our staff of dedicated volunteers, part-time career staff, and fulltime officers in continuing our mission of providing service to the residents and guests of Manheim Township.

Our new fulltime Firefighter/EMT's are Matthew Barnes, Kurt Reinert, and Tyler Fleming. These three were sworn into their positions by Commissioner Heck, President of the MT Board of Commissioners, and then each had their badge pinned by a loved one. Many family members and close friends attended the ceremony.

Manheim Township Fire Rescue added 11 new photos.

Today the "New" Truck 204 arrived at Station 204 from Glick Fire Equipment. The "New" Truck was immediately placed into "training mode" with the first few drivers assigned to driver training. After lunch today the "New" Truck 204 was sent to the LCPSTC for the first of four (4) training sessions on the new Holmatro tools. Training was provided by Jim Artz from ESI. MTFR again extends our sympathy to our brothers at Lancaster City Fire on the loss of retired member Scott Stauffer. We also extend our thoughts and prayers to the Stauffer family.
