Manheim Township Fire Rescue uses a system where new members are accepted each quarter of the year.  This allows new members to complete the membership packet, background investigation and obtain the pre-employment physical.  This system also puts new members together in small groups that can complete entry level training together.  The quarterly intake and orientation of new members take place on the first Monday evening of each quarter of the year starting in January.  Prospective applicants should try to have their application and physical completed at least 2 weeks before the quarterly orientation session they desire to participate in.
